Aqueous Nano Bio-based Silica Dispersion is a high-performance environmentally friendly functional material using renewable biomass as raw material and water as dispersion medium. It prepares nano-scale bio-based silica powder through biosynthetic technology, and forms a stable aqueous colloidal dispersion system through special surface modification and high-efficiency dispersion process. The product integrates the small-size effect of nanomaterials, the sustainability of bio-based materials and the environmental friendliness of aqueous systems. Nano-scale Dispersion StabilityThe average particle size of silica in the dispersion can be controlled at 10-50 nm. Through dual modification of electrostatic stabilization and steric hindrance stabilization, there is no sedimentation or agglomeration, and the room temperature storage stability exceeds 12 months. It can still maintain a uniform dispersion state after dilution, and can be directly added to aqueous systems without additional grinding treatment.

Application Fields
- Water-based Coatings and Inks: Added as a matting agent and reinforcing agent to water-based wood coatings, UV water-based coatings and water-based plastic coatings, it can achieve high matting efficiency, excellent wear and scratch resistance, and improve the adhesion and weather resistance of the coating; in water-based inks, it can improve printability and color stability.
- Biomedical Materials: Used in medical coatings and tissue engineering scaffold materials, it realizes antibacterial, anti-inflammatory or cell adhesion regulation functions by virtue of its biocompatibility and nano-activity.
- New Energy Field: As a modifier for lithium battery cathode materials and separator coating materials, it improves the cycle stability, rate performance and thermal safety of batteries; it can also be used for the modification of fuel cell proton exchange membranes to enhance proton conduction efficiency.
- Daily Chemicals and Textiles: Added to water-based cosmetics and textile finishing agents, it exerts functions such as thickening, sun protection and antistatic, complying with the environmental and safety requirements of daily chemical products.
Usage Recommendations
- Addition Level: Adjust according to application scenarios. The recommended addition level is 1%-5% for water-based coatings, 3%-8% for new energy materials, and 0.5%-2% for daily chemical products.
- Addition Method: Slowly add the dispersion during the stirring of the aqueous system, control the stirring speed at 500-1000 r/min, and stir for 10-15 minutes to achieve uniform dispersion; avoid high-speed shearing which may cause particle agglomeration.
- Storage Conditions: Seal and store in a cool and dry place, control the temperature at 5-30℃, avoid freezing, exposure to sunlight and severe vibration. The shelf life is 12 months.
